Black on the Block is back with another vendor village at the LA County Fair on May 17th! Experience diverse cultures, access to thousands of attendees, thrilling rides, live music, delicious food and more on the vibrant fairgrounds.

 

This year, all Black on the Block vendors will be located outdoors right near the main entrance (Gate 17 - Yellow Lot)

VENDOR PACKAGE OPTIONS:

 

For the LA County Fair, we are only accepting a limited amount of 10x10 non-food vendors. We are not accepting food, beverage or dessert vendors for this event.

 

All vendors will be placed outdoors, so please bring your tent or umbrella!

 

PRICING:

10x10 Outdoor Space (Non-Food) - $350

VENDOR SET UP:

All vendors are responsible for their entire setup - including tents, tables, and chairs. Please note this is an all outdoor venue. The event is rain or shine. Please bring battery operated lights for your booth as it will get dark.

 

Free on-site parking is available for all vendors. You will receive 2 vendor credentials total from the LA County Fair.

 

VENDOR INSURANCE:

All accepted vendors are required to provide 1 Day General Liability insurance for the date of the event. More information will be sent upon acceptance. 

 

NON-REFUNDABLE VENDOR FEE:

You must pay your non-refundable vendor fee by the due date located on your acceptance invoice. Accepted payment methods are Zelle, Credit Card, or Afterpay. You will receive your acceptance invoice via email from Quickbooks. Failure to make payment by the date given in that email will lead to your spot being given to another vendor on the waitlist, so please be responsive. 

 

AFTERPAY OPTION:

Split your vendor fee payments up into 4 installments using Afterpay! Upon acceptance, you will be given this as an option.

 

ACCEPTANCE PROCESS:

This is a curated market, so all vendors must be accepted by Black on the Block. You will receive an email within 1 week if you have been accepted with further instructions. You will only be contacted by us if you have been accepted. Acceptance is not guaranteed, even if you are a returning vendor. 

 

Black on the Block does not send decline emails or application status updates to applicants. Requests from applicants regarding the status of their application may not be answered. 

 

CATEGORIES WE DO NOT ACCEPT:

• Alcohol/Mobile Bartenders

• Adult Toys

• Cannabis

• Weapons or anything that could be used as a weapon (tasers, knives, carved tools, etc)
