At Black on the Block, we’re committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all of our attendees. We strive to ensure our events are accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability.

Arrival & Accessible Entrances

 

Our accessible entrance is located at: 500 S Bixel St, Los Angeles, CA 90017The event takes place on paved concrete with wide, unobstructed pathways suitable for mobility devices.

 

Restrooms

 

Accessible restrooms are available in the Flix Cafe building, just follow the posted ADA directional signage. Additionally, ADA-compliant portable restrooms can be found within the Food Court area.

 

Concessions

 

All food, beverage, and merch stands are wheelchair accessible and located throughout the venue. If you need assistance, please visit the Black on the Block Info Booth across from the main stage, where staff members are available to help.

 

Seating

 

This is a first-come, first-served, open-seating event. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the event comfortably.

 

Service Animals

 

Service animals are welcome and must remain leashed at all times.Please note that event staff and venue personnel are not responsible for caring for service animals. Black on the Block and Los Angeles Center Studios reserve the right to remove any service animal that is disruptive or poses a threat to the safety of others.

 

ASL Interpretation

 

ASL interpreters will be present on the main stage to interpret MC announcements and artist performances throughout the event.
